Who is Dr. Engin Sarıca, M.D.?

Dr. Engin Sarıca, M.D. completed his primary education at Karşıyaka Aydoğdu Primary School and his secondary and high school education at İzmir Özel Türk Koleji. After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at Ege University, he completed his specialization training at Yeşilyurt State Hospital (Katip Çelebi). During his compulsory service, he worked for six years in Hakkari Yüksekova, where he deepened his experience in birth mechanisms and complicated deliveries. He then returned to İzmir and further developed his work on natural birth in collaboration with his team.

For many years, he has been working on integrating ancient healing and energy medicine techniques with modern medical practices, particularly focusing on the female subconscious and childbirth. Along this path, he has participated in advanced training in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), haptonomy, emotrans, family constellation, archetypal symbols, subconscious symbolic language, ancient astrology, and many other fields.

He continues his education, particularly in reincarnation astrology and hermetic astrology. In this context, Dr. Engin Sarıca, M.D. is the only Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Turkey who has developed a systematic approach to deeply understanding natural birth processes and integrating them into therapeutic areas by incorporating hermetic astrology data into spiritual birth and infertility studies.

Within the scope of natural birth, he was the first to systematically apply birthing in a squatting position (Öreke) with his team in İzmir, and he carried out the first Öreke births in all of İzmir’s private hospitals using specially designed Örekes. The use of Öreke has accelerated subconscious work related to the root chakra and grounding, deepening these processes.

He has advocated for the complete removal of mediolateral episiotomy, arguing that it should be abandoned as a medical practice and that women's health primarily depends on preserving the integrity of the pelvic floor muscles. He systematically implemented pelvic floor physiotherapy treatments before and after birth for the first time in İzmir, collaborating with pelvic physiotherapist Beste Melek Kumak.

In the field of infertility, he works with Nurse Şirin AK on energy medicine-based fertility support programs, particularly focusing on unexplained infertility cases. The work in this area has led to notable increases in spontaneous pregnancy rates and IVF success rates.

In lactation, he continues to support mothers with his team after birth, focusing on a hypnobirthing approach to lactation.

Since 2019, he has been providing services to expectant mothers and patients at his private clinic in İzmir, continuing treatments and surgeries in all medical follow-up, treatment, and surgical fields related to gynecology, in addition to the areas mentioned above.

Believing that doula support plays a crucial role in the birth process and mechanisms, Dr. Engin Sarıca, M.D. and his team have developed a doula program at the clinic, creating a unique coaching program to prepare mothers and fathers for birth. With the doulas working within the clinic and in related fields, a system has been established that deeply touches the soul of birth, offering support to families in all areas, especially in those personal aspects of birth that doctors cannot reach, providing help where mothers face challenges.
