Specialist breastfeeding consultant nurse Sevilay Köse is a graduate of Ege University nursing and worked for many years at Ege University Training and Research Hospital. Throughout her professional life, she has participated in many trainings on childbirth and baby care, especially in the field of breastfeeding, and has specialized in this field both by providing training and receiving training.

Beyond the physical dimension of breastfeeding, she approaches this process with a holistic perspective for both mother and baby through mindful breastfeeding and hypno-breastfeeding practices. She provides consultancy services by rapidly intervening in any breastfeeding problems that may develop in the postpartum period, considering both the mother and the baby.

Since 2024, she has been continuing her independent work in this field through one-on-one home visit consultations. At the same time, together with her team, she regularly provides childbirth preparation trainings to expectant parents.

Known by mothers as the “milk fairy,” nurse Sevilay Köse ensures that families approach breastfeeding holistically by addressing not only the physical process of this special period but also its emotional and psychological dimensions.
